I just finished installing the original 3B into my '81 BJ42 after my 13B with aftermarket T blew a hole through the piston. My 3B runs and drives mostly but I am not finished with the electrical connections. I don't know which wires and relays are original and should stay with the 3B and which have been added on by the previous owner to connect the 13B. I need some help.

Does anyone have an original BJ42 with a 3B and is willing to take photos of the wiring under the glove compartment and the engine compartment? That would be a huge help for me. Then I can start looking in my box of parts, that came with the truck, for the pieces of the puzzle.

I do have what looks like the original glow plug relay which I believe should get reinstalled. Before I start reinstalling parts, I want to make sure I remove the parts that are no longer needed so I don't cause another short. I have a short I am currently trying to isolate. Please see photos.

Thanks

Wire up your ignition switch,

Go manual glows and EDIC.
