Ran some errands today and had some issues.

Stopped for gas and afterward the traction control lights were on. No big deal i thought, I'll reseat the gas cap.

After stop number two, in addition to the trac lights, the diff lock light was blinking and the map and some other items would not show on the display screen. the audio, climate and some of the info items would display.

Got home, restarted the truck, the diff lock light is off. I checked its function and it seemed to work normal. I also had checked its function yesterday while i was waiting for my wife and it worked normally.

In addition to the problems with the display, the power locks will not work manually or with the fob.

Any ideas on if the issues are related, and were to start looking?

You can you anything with the help of google and youtube, should have gone there first.

The problems with the diff lock may have been coincidental. I may have hit the button with my phone or something.

However the problem for the display was found. It was the ECU-B fuse. It seems a short in the mirror is what is causing it to blow. Shifting to reverse with the auto adjustment of the mirrors enabled is causing the short and the fuse to blow. Evidently it is a known problem which has a TSB.

The temporary fix is to have the mirror adjust button in the center position so the auto adjustment at reverse is not enabled. The permenant fix is to find the short.

Glad you found your problem

Thanks for posting the solution!

So did you find the short?

This is the tsb that I have saved on my computer. However, the description of the problem doesn't exactly match the symptoms you and I experienced. Updating to the new part numbers did fix my problem though.
