I'm not going to be able to make it, I am going to put in some volunteer hours with the headwaters coalition tomorrow. If anyone else is interested in volunteering in the future check out the link below.

It's a great environmental restoration project being lead by both Trinity and UIW on the UIW campus. The sisters of Incarnate Word are allowing the land to be restored Back to it's original roots as part of their Earth Care ministry. There are different volunteer opportunities such as the upcoming seedling project which I'll be running and the continuing of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data collection so if you have an interest in learning GIS there are definitely opportunities to do so.

Thanks and, I may be interested in the GIS info. I have taken a couple of courses on it and have forgotten just about everything but it is a great tool. IIRC we used arcgis. good stuff. sorry your gonna miss the elections......

I wish I could be there but it's a voluntold type of deal. The archgis is a great mapping program. I'm not honestly sure which specific software they are using as I haven't been involved with it yet, but looking forward to getting my hands in later this spring
