My '88 FJ62 has been idling slightly higher than normal and the acceleration seemed kind of off. The engine has 270K on it with a complete top end job done by ACC about 3 years ago. I experimented by swapping out computer modules with a salvaged unit I had laying around. Happy to say there was a significant improvement in the overall performance. The idle is smooth and there was more power to the acceleration. Before I do anything with the original unit, are these computer modules able to be recalibrated and who would I send it to?
