Has anyone installed the 5th Gen 4Runner rear sliding cargo tray in an 80?

I'm not talking about a rubber mat to put in the rear of our trucks. I'm talking about installing the heavy duty sliding tray which is optional in the 4Runner in the rear of an 80.

This tray:

I'd love to hear how it worked out and see some pictures.

My thinking here is that if I'm getting a frig (which I am), and want to put it on a slide, why not just get a large sliding tray and use that for the frig and other items. From the 4Runner forum, it looks like there are 4Runner owners who don't like the cargo tray and pull them out. So, if one is lucky one can be had for cheap. Also, I believe I read somewhere that the weight max is 400 pounds, which is appealing in terms of capacity.

So, who has done this already? If so, please post it up. Or if you considered it and chose not to, I'd be interested to know what your thought process was.

Thanks.

Why not buy one from Weathertech?

Not a mat, the tray itself. I edited the title and first post for clarity. Thanks.
