ebay Fj60 - questions

I saw this FJ60 (linky) on ebay and have a question.

It seems the diff filler holes have been moved up really high. Is this necessary for spring over? I copied some pics from there:

Not needed but a plus................It allows for more gear oil to be in the carrier.

It's a good idea, but in this case poorly done.

when you turn your housing to change you pinion angle, your fill hole will be lower then stock.
