SOLD East TN 78 fj40 2F motor and 4-sp trans

$1500 obo. Strong running 2f engine and 4 speed transmission out of my 1978 fj40. Pulled for an LS swap. The transmission is a GM Muncie 4 speed, sm420 or 465...pics attached. Very low 1st gear. Everything ran well, shifted great before u pulled it. The trans oil when drained was muddy and showed evidence of water, so it needs flushed and gone through. It worked well for me but it looked really dirty when I removed the Trans case.

I removed the original carb and replaced with a new carb from trollhole which ran great. The electronic distributor was already there when I bought it. Had a slight exhaust leak at the manifold, but ran perfect other than that.

Power steering components shown in pictures are included. It had a saginaw conversion. Transfer case is NOT included. Unfortunately, i did not get compression numbers before removing it.
