hey guys i'm from texas and i'm part of tlca and i'm in new york right now. my problem is my friend is in austin looking at buying a 67 bronco, she's a girl, she doesn't know what to look for when buying an old car, and i am her help with these things but i'm not there so...
does anyone know a good honest reputable mechanic in austin that knows old 4X4 vehicles and could tell her if it's worth buying?

anything would be appreciated, and i'm not asking for a handout she'll pay for an inspection or something.

just trying to help out a friend, i know that land cruiser guys can appreciate that.
thank you

if you could check them out. i know it's hard with pics, but i appreciate your help.
the owner is asking $8,900 for it. the tranny is a 3 on the floor. 289 that was rebuilt 5 years ago, and the vehicle was restored 5 years ago and painted so we don't know what's under the paint but i've had her look for rust and told her what to look for and it seems to be ok.
thanks
