Very, very cool. Thank you for putting this all together. So it looks like 3 spd transfer cases from early-'73 are interchangeable.

We are stranded in-house today because all of the heavy rain here in south-central Texas so I have been pouring through my parts manuals. What I have not been able to determine for sure is how to know if a part is superseded by another or if they are different parts. For example, in your research you were able to find that 34113 was superseded by 36212-60020.

The 1964 book showed the early to later 10 didget parts number change.

I have the shafts boxed and ready to ship tomorrow, I was wondering if you would like me to wait a few days for things to settle down in your area?

Yes, please. Been crazy! I’ve only seen water moving like that on a few occasions…twice here in Texas and once during monsoon season when we lived in Phoenix. Fortunately our house and ranch/livestock have all weathered the storm…so far (knock on wood).

Alright, alright, alright. We're going to pivot a little here--plan is to put a top shifting 3-speed into the 40...for now. In the mean time, should any of y'all come across any parts for a side shifting 3-speed, please let me know. Especially going to need parts indicated by letters "AU" shift fork, "E" shift fork, "O" transmission top/cap, and "AR" input bearing retainer on the diagram below. Thanks in advance!
