I know this isn't tech, but i thought i should share it!

I found a picture that shows early 100 series designs. It also shows the steps Toyota took before reaching the final design, which was finalized in 1994.

A concept called the Grand Cruiser which is shown in this picture was shown at a motor show in Japan in 1997.

Really cool. I see a lot of 60 in the middle pic on the right and basically a 105 in the bottom right
 
Middle on the right most column looks like an Avalon front end from that era.
 
Thank you for posting this. I was trying to find more info about the history and development of the UZJ100, but there is not much I can find.

Looking at those links you posted I stumbled onto this Dutch Autoweek website.
There are lots of old brochures you can download (if you register, which I did)
Sadly no Hundy's but quite a few Land Cruisers.
I'd love to know more about the 100 series.
