Hey Guys,

The timber tramps 4x4 club from Lewiston will be running Eagle creek on 6 OCT, and maybe the 7th as well, and I would love to see some extra cruisers out there. I'll be there in the 80, and there are a couple others from the board that might show up with their 40s. here is the info I have from the club President.

Hey Dan,
the run will be october 6th. East eagle creek is about 5 miles east of Prichard Idaho. We will be leaving the trailhead at 10:00 am.....the trail runs up an old creek bottom and is as difficult as you make it...we will be in and out of water no more than a foot deep with broken shale and round river rock. Some of us will be camping at the trailhead on friday night and possibly sat. night. oh ya the trail is about 12 miles long and we come out the same way we go in....Hope this helps...if you have any questions you can call me at home at 208-843-7234.....Rod aka..cruiserboy !

Anyhow, I hope to see some of you guys out there--I'll probably be camping that Friday night with at least one Kiddo. Eagle creek is a few miles north of Wallace, Id, off I90

Dan

No takers huh?

Well, if any of you change your mind......

On to the Eagle Creek run, I went up sunday to look at the camping situation and make sure the trail was still there and open. All looked good, even the fresh snow on the mountain behind prichard!! I have been telling everyone that we are leaving the trailhead at 10:00 am saturday morning so if you all could call or email me to let me know you are coming so we don't leave anyone behind that would be great..also Eric and Vern and maybe others are going up early saturday morning so if you would like to hook up and follow give them a call. (509-330-0709 Eric) and (509-243-4955 Vern.)
For those that need directions here they are. From Couer D'Alene take I-90 east 30 miles to Kingston Exit 43 take exit .at the stop sign take a left over the freeway.there is a gas station there you may want to fill up. Follow the prichard murry highway up the river for 23 miles. At 23 miles there is a BIG white sign that says prichard tavern, travel about 100 yards past this turn and you will see the thompson pass and murry road on the right.Turn right on this road and travel 3 miles to Settlers Cedar Grove sign. Turn left ,this is eagle creek road.travel up eagle creek road about a mile STAY ON PAVEMENT. and we will be camped in the meadow on the right. I'll have my C.B. on channel 4 .It's real easy to find.
Kim and I are going up early on friday so if anyone is intrested you can follow us up. Please remember that it may be cold so dress and pack accordingly!!..It looks at this point like there will be about 8 rigs and maybe more!!! Hope to see you all there...Rod and Kim

It's not easy being green

I'd love to go, but I'm cruiserless right at the moment.

Well, If you want to make the drive, I have a co-pilot seat open and you are always welcome.

(not that I'd drive that far for a ride-a-long, but just saying...)
