Couldn't stand it, and I made a batch last night.
Eggs , cocktail onions, big stuffed olives, sliced cloves of garlic, and sliced pieces of roasted red bell pepper.

A question for the Mud Fam that have responded,
When you pickle other things (than eggs), like someone mentioned
green beans, and other veggies. Do you blanch them first, or just toss them in raw?

I've done both when pickling cucumbers, and other veges

Putting them in jars raw, and pouring in boiling pickle juice leaves them with a bit more crunch. Not crunchy, but firmer to the tooth than if you blanch, then jar with boiling pickle juice. I like them that way.

If your doing small batches to eat fresh, salt the veges for an hour or two, rinse, and jar then fresh, don't blanch.

Well, slowly I'm getting back at it.
Got a gal if vinegar and some jalapenos, now I just
gots to boil n peel the eggs.
