What to do with left over hard boiled eggs.
i've, or they wife had about 30 left over eggs. I just made deviled eggs for the first time.
Cut them in half and mixed yolks with reg mayo, mircle whip, finely choped red onion, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Mustard. Loaded the mix into the egg white halves, mixed in shredded Rumiano Sicilian Jack Cheese, and topped with a sprinkle of paprika.
Now I have to figure out what to do with the other 20 eggs?
Any thoughts
-Jim
P.S. The cheese is the best I have ever tasted, and I'm not a "cheese" person----other some cheesey coments.:censor::cheers:

Pickled eggs, you thought bunny farts were bad?;
Throw some peeled eggs in a jar of dill pickle juice, stick them in the fridge for a week or two. Enjoy with the ice cold domestic beer of your choice, PBR is a recommended paring. If you can find the pickled polish sausage or ham sandwiches also go well with the PBR and pickled eggs.

Avoid open flames.

roosty that sounds great, but can not stand the dill. got a recommendation on that?
egg farts are not even half as bad as girl farts.
i've been told by scientists that girls hold them in for several months, just to let them ferment.
brrrrrrrrrrr, don't want to get a dutch oven from one of one of those.

Try it in jalapeno juice or pepperocini juice sometime. Soak them for about 2 weeks before you try the first one. YUMMMMM!!!!!!

If you wanna go all Pennsylvania Dutch, you can use pickled beet juice.
7 sweets and 7 sours.

OK, took Rusty & Bigndn's ideas
Mixed about 3/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 pts of vinegar, a shot of pickiling spice, some jalapeno slices (w/juice), half a jar of roasted red bell peppers, garlic powder, cocktai onions, and some left over green olives. EGGS, and enough water to cover the whole mess, and into the fridge.
We will see what happens in 2 or 3 weeks.

I bet they turn out pretty tasty! Can't wait to hear. :cheers:

Just walked out'a the kitchen. The wife walked in and saw me munching on my 4th egg, and scooping out the peppers, and I also had an ice cold Sierra Nevada in my non-shooting hand.
She just sighed as she looked at me and shook her head. I offered her an egg, even pointing out that they had turned a nice shade of yellow. I told her that the easter leftovers were great. She asked me how my back felt, cause I will be spending the night on the couch.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Keep us posted....

How was the flavor?

The eggs did not have that "pickled" flavor, maybe i did not use enough vinegar, but overall they turnedout great, tossing in the jalapenos was an excellant suggestion, Thanks Bigndn

PS, I'd ship you some, but I'm not up on any of my HazMat placards any more.

LOL, blame it on the dog!

The gal at the tavern said that someone always wants the leftover jar of brine when they empty a jar of pickled eggs. The internet is full of simple pickling recipes. I just did up a batch of my homemade polish sausage and had to pickle a few jars with serano peppers, garlic, onions and some hot red peppers that looked like jalapenos. review to follow

:cheers: for the revival!

It's on again! All hail the increaible editable EGG.
I might have to make another batch and put out a spread with my smoked trout(Smoked trout/Weber), cheese, and Sierra Pale Ale.

Step dad used to save the juice from pickled beets to pickle eggs. They looked pretty funny but tasted like deviled eggs, yum.:D

I use a pinch of Turmeric to turn them all Yellow. But don't know what it does to the pickle juice? It dosn't affect the taste.
Try to make it appealing (visually) to the wife so I don't get blamed for the smell in the bedroom!!
Damn, now I gotta make a new batch, and feed alittle to her chuwawa, since it sleeps right next to her chin!
Sharing is Caring!

I also like to take the leftover oversize green beans and pickle them with some garlic, peppers, and onions. That's some bloody mary veggies right there!
