Dynamic Diode install into ARB Summit bumper

Hi friends - new to me (built) 2017 LC200.

The ARB summit front bumpers has white LED fogs installed. I love my dynamic diode Amber SAE fogs on my RAM, so I want to replicate that on my LC. I also got the fogs super cheap on fb marketplace, so this is happening.

I got the DD lights, did my research and bought Paranoid Fabrications brackets and took apart the summit bumper and boom, it doesn’t make sense. The expected ARB summit housing doesn’t match the expected bolt locations on PF’s website. The summit housing on the edges sort of feels cut.

I’m suspecting that the previous owner installed some type of kit that requires the ARB plastic summit housing to be cut…?

Anyone have any ideas what was installed? any suggestions to solve? I’ve emailed ARB, not super helpful.

And no, installing the perfectly fine LED fogs that were installed and just using them is no longer an option. I’m too far down the rabbit hole. DD fogs or bust at this point.

Looking at the install manual for your ARB bumper (Summit bar for a 2017), here's an image of what's considered normal. Ha, but that doesn't look anything like what you have. Sorry, I couldn't find any better info.

Okay, here's a potential solution . Check my work, but I think the LC200 light buckets are designed to work with the factory LED fogs. The PF brackets are designed to work with the light buckets used on the Tacoma bar, which are different.

I don't know if the Tacoma buckets and the LC200 buckets are interchangeable. That would need to be verified. The Tacoma bucket part # is 3163082. $135 on eBay.

The bolt patterns look right. Thank you. Great sleuthing. Even better than ChatGPT did. Will check if these are compatible with ARB.
