:meh: I've got a bit of antifreeze in each of my wheeling tires for dynamic balancing. So far no one has given me reason to think it's a bad idea.

im a dumbtard. I shoulda searched first.:bang:

anyway...they look like a good idea to me also. I guess the too good to be true kinda stuff makes me squirm a little. even if it is a good product/idea.

dyna beads are great i have been running the in my tires for years now just about the only thing that would balance out my super swamper ltb's before i used them it felt like i was driving on tank tracks now they ride like an AT tire

they are 100% legit. Used them to balance my trxus MT's when the local shop gave up. Also tottaly smoothed out my dads LTB's... I pretty much dont let shops balance my tires anymore, i JUST use the dynabeads.

well dang...i think im convinced.
I think i'll give em a try in my motorcycle tires and then maybe in the TSLs on my FJ40 (if i can ever get it road-worthy...)

I run airsoft bb's
how do those work?

For the guys running dynabeads, are you just using the beads or a combination beads and rim weights?

i also use Airsoft BB's

I followed the oz. recommendation from the dynabead website, and used that many airsoft in each tire..

(Took the lead weights off the wheels)

worked great!

I'd even go as far as to say they even quieted down the tires a bit..

Beads with no wheel weights. 35 inch sx's and beadlocks. Work well.

I'm switching to these very soon.....

...soon as I can actually drive my rig.

they have a chart on their website with reccomendations. I added 2 oz more than they reccomended.

Thanks. I checked the chart, and for my old school 700/15 tires, I would need 4 oz, and you would say that I'd be OK with 5 oz or 6 oz?

What about those valves...what is so special about them?

Sorry for the newbie questions, but I am seriously interested, and I never heard about these before.

The valves have filters on them to keep the beads from coming out of the valve stem (and yes you need them). For those tires i would say 5oz if the companys QC is good, 6 if its not.

OR you can put Airsoft BB's which are bigger than the valves, and probably cheaper....

follow the weight recommendation from their website for the airsoft.. or spend more money and get the dynabeads..;)
