I have an 05 Tundra crew cab with factory DVD system. The deck is fine, but the unit mounted in the headliner has a bad screen. I have three little girls that have been bugging me to get it fixed. Thought I would take a shot at seeing if anyone here has a unit.
I pulled the unit out and broke it down all the way to pulling the screen. It was a lot of small screws to remove! Nothing visibly looks bad or burnt up, but I think the heat of being mounted by the roof of a dark blue truck may have gotten The best of the screen. All wiring is fine.
