There have been a couple threads and comments on here about these tires but I need some current info...How are they holding up for those that have had them for a while? They seem like a great deal for the money.

Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers....

IIRC, Cdan has these. You might PM him?

I still like mine and when the die I will replace them with the same tires.

Dan,
How do they do in the MUD? I'm moving to Seattle next week and rumor has it that it gets kinda wet up there...

Well they are "Radial Mud Rovers" but I must confess that I have succsessfully dodged the mud bullet since I have had them. They have worked well in sand, slickrock and lots of other conditions but I have not been in nasty mud with them.

I am currently running a set of 315's.

I am happy with them and I think they perform better than my MTR's that I had previously in 33's.

They can't be beat for the money IMHO.

I'm also running the 315's and they've been great. While in Moab a couple of months ago, storms and flash floods got us. We had to spend the night in between two creeks, about 2 miles in between, which had turned into fast moving rivers. The next morning we found two Jeeps stuck in the river and mud and a group of about 12 ATV's sitting on the side of the creek, patiently waiting for the water level to drop to decent level to be able to cross. After investigating the depth and conditions, I decided we were ready to cross, completely disregarding the advice of the bystanders:) With all locks engaged, we forded that river as water started seeping into the doors. We made it across, needless to say and as we came up the now steep embankment land in a good 40 foot length of axle deep mud/sand. With the crowd yelling "GO, GO, GO.....YOU'RE GONNA GET STUCK!!" I maintained the diffs locked and slowly proceeded through the mud hole. The crowd cheered as they now knew there was a way over to the other side and back to their camp and equipment. Next we started back over to the other side to start strapping the ATV's up to the Cruiser and to start giving rides to the now energized crowd. After that the water had probably dropped a good 6 inches. Then we drove the owners of the Jeeps out to their vehicles and they tried starting them up. Thankfully they did start up but weren't going anywhere as sand and mud had been setting and building up overnight against there tires, didn't help either that their axles were not locked. We strapped them up and pulled them over to safety also. All were amazed at this "big Jeep" I was driving. So after a morning of "paying it forward" we were back on our way down to the Needles District and Elephant Hill.

So to answer your question, Yes, they do just fine in the mud and any other terrain I've thrown at them.

I've ran them for about 6,000 miles now and the wear looks great. AWESOME tire for the money.

After that story I'm not sure I have choice on what tire to purchase....Thats sick!
