Does anybody have any idea what might be causing a dull thud or clunking noise over my rear drivers side wheel? I just replaced all 4 shocks last week as the noise was there before I replaced them as well. I had the rear brakes serviced by the dealer about a month ago and at that time they adjusted and lubed calipers . I've had the rear wheel off and checked everything and all seems to be tight. The noise only seems to occur over bumpy or pothole roads. Thanks to anybody who can suggest what to look for!! - Tim

Loose body mount? Loose rear wheel bearing?

How did they adjust the calipers? Do you mean the e-brake?

Does it do it if you have the parking brake on lightly? Meaning find a road stretch/speed that does it and drive it with the parking brakes dragging. I'm guessing the dealership screwed something up in the parking brakes (separate drum brakes inside the rear discs) and I'm guessing they broke a brake return spring or the self adjuster mechanism.
