Dual battery question

Hi All-
I have a quick, probably easy/dumb question. I leave tomorrow for a 6 weeks in Tanzania and Zambia and am wondering about what to do with my BJ70 (12 volt). Should I disconnect the batteries? If so, is there a correct order for disconnecting them?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. It's my first diesel/2 battery set up.

if youre worried about them draining, just dissconnect the negative lead that goes to the body/Frame. no ground= no power. or hook a battery tender up to them. It will keep them fresh without overcharging like a regular charger will. I'd just dissconnect them if youre going for that long tho. I work out of town for 3-5 weeks at a time and just dissconnect the Neg lead and it usually fires right up when i hook it back up.......usually

i let mine sit for 4 to 6 weeks and i just hook up a dual bettery tender up no biggie
