Those LEDs and their solder joints exposed to dust/rain/sun - not a good long term idea...

Also, unless there's some hidden electronics/current regulation for those LEDs, they will likely fail sooner than later.

You've had them 2 years in the weather? Those solder joints look new - do you live in a dry climate?

If I had electronics in the weather like that on my vehicles they would be very grim after just a couple of months. I have LED lights, but they are in watertight housings with optics etc.

Anyhow, glad yours are surviving.
