I voted for 3 just to be different...:flipoff2:

all three are good. all offer electric and access to a dump station for those in rv's. IIRC the fancy camp host spot is nice and flat. the other two have a little better view...relatively speaking. randolph is less crouded typically...not that we have to worry about that this time of year.

I've camped in a few places at Tuttle before but have no clue which is which and don't really care what campground. Just pick a spot and tell me where to go. (please be nice when you tell me where to go)

I voted for over by the lake, but I like the camp host location as well. The lakeside area should be kinda nice since the lake is up this year.

Down side as Rob mentioned, is that there is usually more wind.

We didn't camp with y'all last year but I favor that location (option 2) for the protection. Even though there is space galore by the lake if the wind picks up it'll be rather chilly Sat night. Just think, the wind blowing with a low of 34* brrrrrrrrrr.

It's youth deer season in MO, but since the farmer does not have the corn out yet and deer hunting will be slow, I will probably make it for Saturday. Y'all plan on meeting somewhere at Tuttle in the morning? We'll be there early and stay all day, but will need to head back. Might even have another 60with us.

Dad called asking about camping so I told him to just set up at the host spot. Sorry if that ruffles any lake side feathers…

I have the 60 all back together aside from the battery which I forgot in the 40 when we hauled it down to marc’s farm. I either need to run down there or buy a battery which I might end up doing to save time (beings I will need one eventually). It was a family effort: Kaylin helped me bleed the brakes…Hannah helped by pouring sand (cat litter) all over the garage floor and therefore soaking up oil spots…she’s pretty good at spilling things so this was up her alley. I still need to pack and shop for groceries. I’m heading out tomorrow after work. Dad said he is leaving in the morning and will roll in early afternoon.

Brian: depending on how early you’re talking…anything before 10 and you likely catch us at the campground drinking coffee still.

Where’s the rest of the t-town crew: Kirk?, Rick?, mike?, Dave?

Other people need electricity also and there is no other available at that site so this is a problem. Last year we were told there was other electricity, but it was never found.

Rob and I will be there about that time also so will stake out with you. the last couple of yaears the electricity has been on.

Eric Butler and I are coming up on Saturday morning instead of Friday night. It is just the two of us and I will check the other thread about dinner. Just tell me where to drive and camp. Craig

Directions - check out the map again

So, where exactly are we camping? It has been about 3 years sense I was at Tuttle; anyone have a map?

I've modified the map (check link in first post) to show where we are camping. The camp host area has a flag pole out in front - we'll be south of there - follow the road past the bathrooms.

departing osage city at 2 this afternoon...jakes 40 is back together i hope!...this will be the power steering shake down run...we are bringing a couple of 4 wheelers just in case...they are also nice for the restroom run...see ya there!
