Strange request.
Can someone test their side mirrors and provide feedback?
Received the LX from the body shop on Friday (background: frontal impact – no airbags deployed; front bumper replaced) and upon adjusting my side mirrors, I noticed that neither side mirrors would adjust in the horizontal plane (x-axis). Both move vertically (y-axis) up and down just fine.
A day later, only the passenger mirror can move in all directions, however moving left to right is VERY slow and intermittent at best. I can hear the actuators try to move the mirror on the driver side mirror but nothing happens.
Can someone check and verify that the speed at which the side mirrors move left to right is the same as when the mirror moves up and down?
I’m trying to troubleshoot and see whether either the switch is malfunctioning or the mirrors themselves need new actuators.
Thanks.
