hi guys,
Has anyone experienced saggy roof liners? there's no damp, no leaky sunroof on my kzj 70. 15 years old and lived inside mostly. think its the heat getting to it.
are there any solutions to this problem? I looked at an older 70 last year and the liner was sagging terrible.
cheers,
fred

Seems to be that model only,I cant recall any of the other 7* series doing that and some have much longer rooves.
This happened in my Commodore recently so I got a mobile motor trimmer out and he glued a new piece in using the old fabric.

The roof linning isnt glued to a cardboard base is it like 79 series ,
If its the same material roof linning as the 75 series like mine just material to the metal roof (one long hot summer killed it) as long as its not ripped or torn off for my 75 i used roof linning glue in a spray gun off a mate that was also respraying his commodore roof he had enough of the thumb tacs ;) it has held up since

pretty certain its glued to a bit of foam onto the metal work. I'm thinking the foam has become brittle and broken up over time and is now showing its age. I'll have to see if I can get hold of some roof lining glue. Sounds like another quirky one for the kzj!
:)thanks for the replies!
