I’m looking to use this factory fog switch for my light forces. I am unsure how to wire it. I want the lights independent of my other lighting. Everything will stay 24v and I’d like to use the aux power block. That said, does anyone know what the wires are? I’m assuming they are: power constant, power control, switch illumination, and ground.

Wires are: red (green stripe), yellow (red stripe), red (black stripe), white (black stripe)

My guess is:
red (black) - power constant
White (black) - ground
Yellow (red) - acc
Red (green) - illumination

I believe you are correct on the wiring at the switch. I tied into the fog switch to control a relay with a higher amp rating for my lights. I needed the fuse box to help control lower draw interior stuff. Why not tie into the fog lamp wire off the loom up front?

I don’t have factory fogs. Do you know if toyota put the wiring in for them?
