I’m going crazy trying to solve this. My driver front window has a mind of its own. Was hoping someone here may have a tip or two.

Read through a number of threads on this, can’t quite figure it out - most conclude either master switch or harness.

Ordered a new master switch from Switch Dr on Amazon. The original worked (well not really) but was cracked and wanted to eliminate that as a source of the issue. With the original, every window worked up/down but the the driver front. More often than not that window worked as well but on occasion would not roll up, and very seldom would not roll down. Generally speaking, when having issues it would roll down and then not roll up. Letting it sit for a bit would allow it to work again. Sometimes simply killing ign and then back on would “fix” this. Sometimes not. No pattern to door open or closed, driving or parked. It makes no difference.

I pulled the harness from the kick panel out through the door and inspected to find no abrasions.

New master switch is doing similar things, but now, in addition, the auto up function seems to roll the window down. Half click up, will roll the window up, when it feels like it. Full click (auto) rolls the windown down. Down also rolls the window down.

I need an exorcism.

Well... oddly unplugging the 3 pin connector (B) has seemingly fixed all issues. SGND LMT PLS

I don’t quite understand how the limit switch and pulse sensor work and how they might lead to my malfunctions.

Clearly this isn’t fixing the root cause but it is nice that I have a functioning window at least.

I did find this regarding unknown year of Camry.

And then heres the circuit diagrams from my 99 ewd.

Wonder if it’s in the air, cus i’ve got a front passenger that started doing some intermittent operation from drivers switch (initially would go down when controlled from driver (unless it wouldn’t) but it would operate both directions from passenger. Tonight it went down from the passenger, but wouldn’t go up.
