After some off-roading this weekend in the Pine Barrens of NJ, I'm having a drivers side heated seat issue. The heat comes on, high, and doesn't turn off. Cycle through the switch, all 3 settings and auto, never turns off. Passenger side hasn't acted up.
There was a lot of water, so I'm on that track....anyone else have any experience?

Was this problem ever solved? My 2016 is at the dealer now and apparently the wiring harness that they thought was the problem may have not been the problem. Now looking at sensors in the seat. Same as you, comes on but won't turn off.

Mine stopped after I opened everything up and really let it air dry for a day or 2, so im fairly sure mine was moisture related.

Good to know and thanks. In my case the problem has not gone away after a few days but they did find corrosion in the wiring harness so we will see what plan b is. They are paying.

This is usually from water getting into the junction boxes
Box EK2 is the usual suspect.
Good chance sunroof is leaking.

I'll pass that along if needed. Interesting to me that the sunroof could be leaking. I've never checked.

Thanks for the info. Dealer said that the leaking sunroof that drains into the connector is a known problem. He did a leak test.

I believed that it was sunroof on mine but it has proven to be the windshield. Went to the glass shop and they put their sniffer on it and it was the windshield. Now if Leaky can point me to the one that runs the keyless entry and screen I’ll be set.
