My driver door won't shut without slamming very hard.

Any ideas ?

Is it sagging ? Old Blazers did that when the hinge pin wore out and the latch would not match.

Try lifting the door as you close it. Just an idea.

Just shoot some silicon lube in the latch. I just did it about 3 weeks ago and it fixed it right up.

Mine is doing the same, even after trying to lube it, I've just come to understand the regulator needs to be replaced. It's $100 for an OEM on Amazon which in my opinion is worth it.

Another thought before replacing the door latch, rare but I have seen the pillar pin loosen up and move inward.
