With Downey no longer in business, as luck would have it I am now able to come up with the shafts necessary for use with the very desirable Downey 1" thick adapter plates, now just need to find those 1" adapter plates out there, where seller has plate, but no shafts, I'm your buyer.

It's a slick setup. Was talking to some folks about driveshaft length the other day and was marveling at how good mine was compared to the newer adapter setups.

I'll be switching back to a manual trans at some point, but in the meantime enjoy having this specific piece of history.

When you go back to stick, if you want to sell your 1" adapter, I'm probably your buyer. Keep in mind though that the. adapter must include the output shaft from your auto trans, and the input shaft from your transfer-case.

I will definitely let you know.

Didn't realize the kit replaced the Tcase input as well. Something I'll need to deal with when swapping everything out.

If you are going back to a stock land cruiser tranny it will already have the tranny output shaft that is the transfer-case input shaft all in one single shaft- - -easy deal.
