Has / does anyone else experience this. All of my doors are butter smooth. No squeaks rattles or anything else EXCEPT it is impossible to close them without slamming them. I don't see any detents or cushions other than the moulding itself. Anyone, any ideas.

My doors pretty much close by themselves. I just give them a light nudge to shut them. No problems with them slamming on their own.
However, my father-in-law is a chronic hard-door-closer and when he closes my passenger door I swear the window is going to break. So yes, mine are easy to slam.

Same here. Mine close very smooth and easy. I step out and just lightly close them. But my 80 year old dad closes them like he is still in his 68 F250. I like how mine close.
