Door Locks- 2004 LX470 (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys, I have questions about the door lock system. I cannot seem to get the doors to lock past an intermittent lock on the driver side door when it is activated electronically. And sometimes I get a loud smash sound of the tailgate locking when I put my 470 in reverse. I have changed out some of the actuators and that has done nothing. Has anyone had this problem? And does anyone know anything about the circuit board that controls it all? Part number or location? or is it an ECU? Do I need to replace that instead? I have been quoted 5k to fix it all at the dealership and that is simply not going to happen.
BTW the alarm system still activates the security system when all the doors are manually locked. Any thoughts would help! Thanks <3

Sorry I can't help and that you aren't getting any other input.

My door lock actuator issues are of the more common variety of the motors needing replacement
in each actuator and them not working as well in the heat of summer.

I will say that the loud smashing sound when putting it in reverse DOES seem to be unrelated as
I've never heard of actuator issues predicated on transmission position, but IDK.

You're right to be wary of the $5K quote though.
