Searched but can't find the actual fact, can just the door lock switch be replaced without replacing the whole master window switch. The lock button will unlock everything fine, just not lock. Replaced the motor and with the key you can lock/unlock everything just fine, just not with the door switch.
Is it possible that other Toyota model door lock switches would work? I have found some master switches for sale on ebay in Australia but of course the layout is a different, but the switches should be the same and was thinking just swap them.

They are not individual switches. The master switch has each individual switch integrated on a common base. Might be worth finding a mate with some electronics smarts to have a look at it. The window switches on the master are repairable if you know what you are doing, so there's a chance that your problem switch is too.

Search 'Window switch module repair' + APKhaos . That thread has pics on the master switch internals that should be helpful. I suspect your lock switch problem is repairable.
Open the assembly on a clean surface. There are many small parts that want to escape.
