Hi all,
All of my SUV locks including the trunk do not work. I decided to replace the actuator motor I found by reading one of the posts on this forum.
I found a good YouTube video where one gentleman is replacing the door lock motor on a LandCruiser.

. It is easy to follow, however, around 3:15 in the video, at
he removes two clips that are hidden inside the door. I remember seeing one video where two fellows couldn't get that piece untangled and had to reach it by removing the door handle and reaching out from outside. which was quite a hassle

I am wondering if above video suffices and I should be able to remove and then put it back the plastic clips on to the actuator without a lot of problems

Thanks

Nice narrative and videography explaining the process of replacing the door lock actuator motor. I completed my driver door and front passenger side door actuator motors. Only weird thing is that when I press the "LOCK" button on the driver side arm rest where the lock and window controls are the front doors lock and unlock in the opposite order from the rear doors and tailgate locks. Then if I go to "UNLOCK" the reverse happens. To get the remote key to work on unlocking the drivers side front door, I first have to press "UNLOCK" button twice and then the "LOCK" button once to get it to unlock the drivers door. If I do it only one time the alarm goes off when I open the drivers door. Is per chance the new actuator motors I purchased might have reversed polarity? Any thoughts on this to correct the problem would be helpful.
