Door activated Interior Lights in 2020 GXL Landcruiser

Hi, sorry to rehash this again but I am having trouble trying to activate my front rh/lh courtesy door lights, I have replace the original (red) dummy lens that didn’t have a globes in them but have wiring to both doors, I put new clear lens in doors, all dome interior lights work even when doors are opened but not courtesy door lights, I have traced wiring through doors to connector though pins inside are offset to pins that are active, if anyone could give me some sensible advise please

Hi Daneo, yes voltage reading at pins was 12.1 v

Is that from Pin to pin, or one pin to ground? If you measure 12v pin to pin and plug a light in and the light doesn't come on, then the light doesn't work. are you sure the bulb is 12v compatible? I hate to ask, is there a bulb installed in the new clear housing?
