Customer brought it in with that description, a quick test drive confirmed, from following that it was indeed going down the road crooked .........you could see about 2" of the drivers front tire from directly behind the rear tire.....this is what we found......and how we fixed it.

it had been bent backwards, pulled the rivets out, and they just welded it (liberal use of term) where they could get it.

THey had also run some bolts into the old rivet hole and they were not doing anything since they were not even tight.....I used a 2" cutoff tool
and zipped thru the old welds, then finished it off with an air chisel.

I have access to a few old frames and got a good straight one to replace the bent up one

Used the old rivet holes to line the new one up then burned it in place......I like welding photos:flipoff2: :flipoff2: .....

Don't know, my customer just bought it last week.....imagine it hit an immovable object........
 
I'm kinda surprised nobody has asked why the lift arm is not touching there where we are working.............

I have a 3 ton overhead jackstand under the frame on the rear...........kinda surprised ya can't see it in any of the pix.
