Hey my dog chewed the heck out of my Second Row center seatbelt strap. Does anyone have any advice on how to repair or replace it? Looks like this would be the part:

Center Seat Belt - Toyota 73320-60070-B1. Do you think this would be a fairly straight forward swap out?

Picture of the offending dog for reference. Fortunately he has grown out of the puppy land shark stage.

I'm assuming you mean the center one in the 3rd row? If so the seatbelt looks fairly straightfoward, except you have to drop the headliner which is a tremendous number of steps (see attached PDF)

Oh dang no I meant the 2nd row center seat belt. I’ll see if I can edit my original post to clarify. But thank you for this info.

Ah, the second row is a lot more steps. I'm not sure you really need to do all of them though, as this is full disassembly of the 60% section of the rear seat.

You may want to download the FSM ISO file (there's a thread with instructions) and browse through it. Or just start popping things apart and wing it... how hard could it be?

Oof that looks pretty complex. I may need to just keep stuffing kids in the 3rd row until I can set aside some time to tackle that. I do appreciate the advice!

My 2015 had a chewed up seatbelt, 2nd row center by previous owner's dog. The dealer I bought the truck from had the part on order and agreed to replace it when the part came in as it was a safety issue. They had to remove upholstery from the seat and reinstall it with hog rings. They did a good job but it was a pain. I was back in the service area talking to the guys when they had it apart. I do almost all my own work and I was glad I let them do it.

Wait til he gets to the bored doggie stage. Came home this week to find a few things chewed up by our 11 year old puppy.

As for the seat belt. A bit of duct tape and it will be as good as new

It's called the MIL mod, you know mother -in-law.

Maybe cut out the chewed section and sew it back together? I imagine there is a seatbelt repair kit available. . .
