Search gives me no details on the factory towing package, neither does the Toyota brochure or handbook. I'm wondering if my 2003 100-series has trailer brakes as the electrical trailer out put is a 7-pin which is usually on used with a trailer brake and all the 7 wires seem to come from the factory harness.

I know I can test the outs with the meter but interested to know just what the factory "towing package" contains.

Just installed a prodigy brake controller into the ashtray area because I have the towing package which gives me a seven pin plug in the back of the bumper and there is a direct plug to connect my controller behind the kick panel along with the wire bundle for the ignition module.
I have 04 LC.

Great, thanks I'll look for it and try copying you. Is that plug easy to identify? What about posting a picture?

Look for my post regarding prodigy down the line in 100 tech section and you will find the pictures. You need to remove the lower kick panel and the.metal support structure, 10 mm bolts to access it along qith the wires going to the ignition.
