Hi guys,
I have a 2008 4.5D with the same problem as many others. It does not go into 6th gear when driving an even speed around 100 kph (60 mph.)
some of you have solved this by installing a torque converter lock up kit, but what happens with the gearing when you tune the engine by mapping NOT chip tuning?
Anyone with experience?
I want it to go low revs as it should be able to do when cruising. And because the gearbox shifts gears when it gets harder for it to work, I thought it might help with more power?🤔
What do you guys say and think about this?

Regards, Klas
