Does anyone have a front cup holder shaped like this one?

Because a square peg wont go in a round hole.... The cupholder insert of the type in the ebay link and the photo above wont fit OP's cupholder, "the parts don't go together"
Thx, good lookin out.

So, it looks like I may be in trouble here. Does anyone know if I can buy the lc cup holder assembly and swap out my lx wood top onto it? If so, how hard is it? Any how to links? Thanks

Got my insert off of ebay for about $25 a while ago. Mine looks just like yours

That's cool chuckscap. Do you still have the link or something? I can't seem to find one that matches. Thanks

I have the same console as you, and have been looking on eBay for months to try to find the divider. It's funny, folks out there are clueless as to the earlier style console.

You must be referring to this piece? I also tried searching for this and was surprised to see how difficult this piece is to find online. $119 for the whole assembly from Toyota of Dallas. A steep price to pay for that small piece. Your best bet is to find a junkyard parting one out and hope to get lucky that they'll sell it to you.

Does that fit the earlier models? Notice on my '99 it's just a stationary piece that doesn't open up.

Mine looks just like yours sans the little piece you are holding. Even with that attached, I doubt it'll stop my water bottles and small cans from sliding around and tipping over. I guess they figured out the cup holders suck after 98-99 and made it with the adjustable attachment in the later model years. They have to be the worst cupholders I've ever had in any car with cupholders. It was a $60k truck for crying out loud.

I guess Toyota figured that most people who bought it originally wouldn't let there drivers drink while on the job! lol :)

Yea, I could do something like that. I guess I just want everything to be whole and as it was intended. I have just been abstaining from drinking while driving for now!

Nevermind, just tried a koozie and it isn't thick enough. Need something about 3" in diameter.

Actually that centerpiece does hold water bottles, insulated travel coffee mugs, and now my Yeti mugs perfectly! I have actually thought of my '99 as having the best cup holder setup of all my cars. Between the main cup holders, the 2 under the arm rest, and the 2 in the 2nd row for our kids this thing has been awesome on road trips through the years.
