Does a bj70 gearbox go into a bj73

Hey guys I'm about to buy a doner car just for the gearbox but not sure if it will fit. I have a bj73 with 3B and so does the bj70, and just wanted to know if it will fit into my car. Only reason asking is because I know that the shorter the cruiser is the shorter everthing else is

yep so long as the're both BJs with B engines they'll both have the long fine spline input shafts

Yes and it will also go into a 60 series.The various models have different driveshaft lengths

It will be easier if they both have the same transfer case shifting mechanism , some have manual shift some have vacuum shift.
