Do your lights turn off?

When it is dark out and I have the engine running, my headlights turn on and do not turn off, regardless of where I have the switch. Is that normal? I just noticed this after 2 years of having this vehicle (99). Not sure about day time. They appear to be the daylight lights and not the normal night time driving lights. If not normal, how do I fix this?

Daytime Running Lights are working as they should. They will be on whenever your engine is on. If you don't want them on, do a search for "disable DRL."

Normal. If your headlights aren't on, your DRLs are.
