I am a General Contractor in Charlotte Area-Hire me...Pics attached

Hey guys, thought i might throw a post out here. I have a custom remodeling business I started about a year or so ago on the side with a partner. Well tough times have caused him to lose his full time job and we are just finishing up our 2nd house that we totally remodeled and added a 2nd floor too. Now with his first child on the way, we are under the gun to get turn our side business into a full timer!!! We can do screened porches, room addtions, interior upfits, kitchens and bathrooms... pretty much anything you want us to. We also have some good architects we have worked with on our last 2 projects We have both been in homebuilding for a while now and feel like with such low overhead on our end we can pass along great pricing!!!

I just might be needing you in the next month or so... Nothing huge though just the program I am going through to buy my house might need a few repairs done to the house before I move into it in the next month. They are things I would normally do myself but they require a licensed contractor to do it. Just a few shingles need to be replaced, a few pieces of vinyl siding and a few tiny cracks in the foundation need to be sealed. If I do need them done i'll be giving you a call as i'd rather help a fellow cruiser head out than anyone else.
 
Josh..do you have pix of your current projects (2nd floor, home built, etc.)...and references??..thanks..Roger

I may be interested also, but in the Triangle area. We bought a 60's Ranch, and have done most of the inside, now it's time to start talking about redoing the enclosed carport with a 2nd story. We'd also like to bump out the back of the house, add a deck, and finish the basement... We'll have to talk... :)
 
Just finished this one...

Just to give you a little background. i will try to post some before shots tomorrow. This was a blue, painted brick 1300 sq ranch. we added the left half of the front porch, gutted entire existing, enlarged rooms, solidified foundation and added 1100 sq feet upstairs. Everything you see inside is brand new with the exception of the hardwoods which are from 1949 i beleive and were kept and weaved back into.

yeah we were really excited with how it turned out. Selections all went really well together and homeowners were really stoked. Hope to get a few more like that soon! Got one at Architects right now that are going have a 1700 sq ft ranch and we are going to turn it into a 3400 sq ftr, with an awesome outdoor living area. Backyard is a big useless hill right now.

Well! as luck would have it, JH Custom Homes and Renovations is full speed ahead. I was officially let go from Shea Homes after 7 years here in Charlotte. My partner and I have great experience in new homes and in Updating/Renovating old ones so we are out shaking the bushes as much as we can here in Charlotte and surrounding areas to get up and running full time.
