I purchased a set of Tundra steel wheels (latest gen Tundras). I know they fit but was wondering if the TPMS sensors that are made to fit these steel wheels can work with my 2006 Land Cruiser (100)?

I know allot of people have steel wheels for Tundras on LC100s but would like to know if some people got the TPMS system to work.

This would enable me to avoid having that sensor light come up on my dash every time I start my vehicle.

I think the sensors are different depending if the Tundra wheels are alloy or steel.

I have not purchased the TPMS sensors yet, found a set that are made for steel wheels for about 100$ on CL but would like to know if they work before making the purchase.

Found the answer to my issue: the frequency emitted by allot of aftermarket TPMS can be tuned to work with different vehicles. Just had some installed on the tundra steel wheels at my local tire store and they work with my 100 series (my low tire pressure light doesn't come on).

Took you six months to answer your own question. Success! ;)
