Do I need to do the 7pin mod on a 2004 TLC?

Has Toyota changed this feature yet? Or do I still have to do the 7 pin mod to unlock lockers in low range?

Thanks

On my 03 LX, you can engage the CDL in high or low, so it's probably the same for the 03+ LC. Looking in the factory electrical manual, there is no pin 7 wire on the CDL ECU.

That is what I thought. When I engaged low drive I did not see the CDL light come on unless I hit the switch.

Cool, one less thing to do this weekend.

Just a note on 2003 LC100's, (this may be only an OZ or euro issue due to the implementation of equipment in different areas), the 2003 LC's (early ones at least) still need to have the 7 pin mod done, they still have the wire to the transmission relay, and yes if you unplug it, you get high and low CDL selectability via the dash switch.
