My 2008 LC started doing the weirdest thing this week. While driving in the city, the warning lights on the dash started flashing, the doors locked and unlocked themselves, the overhead lights were flashing--it got worse anytime I tried to turn the LC.

Of course I took it to the dealer for a checkup. No error codes, battery ok, alternator ok, steering ok--of course it didn't repeat any of the symptoms.

Has anyone experienced this malfunction or could help me point the dealer in the right direction?

Hi Nick,

I have never experienced an issue like this but all of the different things you mentioned lead me to think that it might be related to your alarm/entry system.

just do a reset of the system...unplug the battery and wait some time. should clear out any electrical gliches.

Agreed. Are you running an aftermarket alarm?
