Just got 110 miles on half a tank all in town stop lights... , not including any % for non stock tires (33). I gave up trying to track it.... I do set my od each fill up so I know whats normal at half tank, but filling up just plain sucks regardless (I do run premium gas).

My last fill-up in my pretty much bone stock LX was 20.661 gallons...307.7 miles...14.89 MPG. This is my third tank after my 90K mile service in January. I consistently get 305 to 320 miles on a 20-21 gallon fill. Average MPG is 14.8 to 15.8. I drive slow and am currently doing some informal testing to find my best speed range for MPG.

Seems like your LX is now in a better MPG range. I once hit 18 MPG on non-ethanol gas on a country highway coming back from Eastern Oregon to Eugene. Not looking forward to adding on all the weight for the armor.

My driving is 100% in town. Despite numerous attempts to improve mileage, I have to fill up at 280 on the dot, every time. 275/70/18 Nittos and sliders. Other than that all stock.

Between 11.5 and 12mpg.

Well over 300 miles per tank, never put more than 22 gallons in it. Stock 03 with sliders, mixed driving.

Today I filled up the LC for the first time since I bought the truck...305M/19G=16.05mpg mixed driving (70hwy/30city). I did baby it, however, 30 of those miles was off road. I'm hoping for 17.5mpg hwy 100%.

The only way to accurately calculate your milage is divide the miles traveled (use milage from a garmin or other gps nav system) by the amount of fuel you put on the tank.

A 25 gallon tank only has about 22 gallons of usable fuel. You don't get to burn that last 3 gallons.

Also, using the odometer reading when running something other than OEM stock tires wont work. Best to use a seperate gps-based odometer reading.

You'll probably find you're no better than the rest of us. 13 to 15 mpg at best.

What do you mean by "you don't get to use the last three gallons"? I have filled up with 24.5 gallons on more than one occasion. I've run other cars til they held within one gallon of the rated capacity. I would rather do that regularly and burn off any moisture rather than cut my cruising range down.

Yeah, but you may also be sucking sediment into the system, depending on the particular design. I never run below 3-4 gallons. Just fyi. I agree, though, that there's no way there's a full 3 gallons unusable.

I have a 2004 LC, cranked torsion bars, 265/75/R18's LTX MS2's and consistently get north of 300 miles between fill ups under mixed driving conditions. If it is all city driving I get just shy of 300 per fill up.

You need PFRAN assistance. I guarantee a 2 MPG improvement on your rig after around 20 minutes of work.

Here is what the wife's TB looked like before I cleaned it:

Not too bad right? It looks 10x better than mine did when I was troubleshooting my 180-miles-per-tank issue a couple of years ago. I never would have guessed that a good cleaning would have improved the MPGs on the wife's LX by 3 MPG!

Here is what the TB looked like on my LC a couple of years ago:

I just filled up and was getting 6MPG city...

Just reset the ECU and I can immediately tell the engine is responding better. It used to take a while for the revs to drop after I released the pedal. Now it goes down immediately.

Can't wait till my next fill up!

My rig is lifted with 2.5/3" heavy OME, DBA 4000 "paw" rotors, Yellow stuff pads, KMC XD wheels, Toyo 275/70r18's A/T's, EMS exhaust, dual batteries, 42"x76" roof rack (Al) with 5 Rigid Lights, a heavy tool bag, a heavy recovery gear bag and 4.88 Nitro's..... and I get 14.2 mpg highway when I keep it under 65mph, relatively flat roads, low wind. Any other conditions and it all goes downhill from there. Never really calculated city, but seems to be around 11-12.
