Do all 100s have an immobiliser?

The immobiliser doesn't seem to exist in my 98 HDJ101. There is no light flashing ever. I've had new keys cut without transponders with no issues. Any thoughts? Cheers

Pop the cowling off under the steering wheel and see if you have a aerial around the ignition barrel. It has been known for people to tape the chip to it so any key made without a transponder will start it. No aerial = no immobiliser. not sure of the specs to say if it shouldn't have one fitted.
