i have a 93 pzj and am looking for new rotors for the front brakes... i know i can get them from AU but shipping would kill me. Anyone know of somewhere on the East coast US that could supply them?

Thanks

From 90-93 they used the same rotor as an 87-92 62 series

I think you can swap the rear discs with a 60 series as well. There are plenty if items that interchange with a 60 series bu its more common with the 84-90 7* series.

60 series did not come with rear discs. Although DIY lists 60 series after 1989 model year, I have not actually seen one that physically exists - perhaps in the middle east market?

The PZJ77 may be supplied with a full float rear end or a semi float rear end - both with drum brakes. Rear discs might have been an option but I have not seen it yet.

With the full float, you can probably swap the rear discs from another 70 series - HZJ7x that came with rear discs.

And on the rotors question: front rotors from a 1981 - 1996 (or so) 40 (production stopped in 1984), 60 (production stopped in 1990), 70 series will fit. I just put rotors on my 1996 HZJ77... no problems sourcing them as we go through lots of these items in my workshop.

Yeah, with the rear disc FF on my Troopie it was the hodge podge figuring out what fit. 80 series calipers and 03-07 4Runner (I think) rotors on the rear. Fronts were 40/60 series rotors and 90s V6 4Runner calipers.

I meant the rear drums are the same. The 60 series went to 92 in South America. I think Tapage posted some pics of one.I think it was made in the Venezuela factory
