Howdy folks,

I just bought a new cruiser a month or so ago and I am kinda disappointed with the VSC. Is there a way to disable it?

I drive a lot of dirt roads where I live and sometimes I like to have a little fun and fishtail around corners, but when the VSC kicks in it hampers my fun.

Any suggestions are appreciated,
Coy

All you have to do is put it in 4 hi. That shuts it off. If you have an auto, then you will now be in 4wd, if a standard, you were already in 4wd.
On a side note, I have been known to get some fun on the gravel roads. I have noticed that the more I do it, the more I get away with. It almost seems like the computer is learning my driving style. I can now get the rear to slide quite a ways before it starts flashing and beeping at me.:bounce:
I, personally like having the VSC. It keeps me in line. ;)

if you don't tighten the gas cap all the way, your traction control is turned off. I found this out the hard way first time I took it offroad... topped up the tank at a full serve before heading into the bush and after hitting a bump or two the dash light up with warning lights letting me know that any computer traction options where not avalible...
