Hello one & all,
Anyone free Friday night, Sat late afternoon/eve or Sunday that can do some welding on our trailer for hauling the Trackchair?

From 10-3 on Sat I will be setup at the Disabled Empowerment Center for a Mobility event but otherwise free to match up on anyones schedule.

Here are some pics & descriptions of the welding needs:

Need the mud flap arm cut off and some sort of triangular support welded on that will lock the rear ramp upright.

Here is a view from the other side (cut off that old light housing).
I am holding the ramp in the position it would be nice to be able to secure it in. And create some sort of locking pin/bolt/whatever.

On the front of the trailer, cut the side supports for the moto wheelholder so we can secure a box up there. This not a must do but would be nice :)

On the tongue, it would be nice to have the wheel welded vs bolted so as to get rid of the low hanging bits.

Adventure Trailers donated a Max Coupler hitch, and I will pickup a reciever tube that needs to be welded on the tongue in place of the current ball hitch setup.

Also it would be really nice to have some tie down loops welded around the frame of the trailer.

My ultimate goal with this trailer is to have something that can be used by a wheelchair person to carry the Trackchair completely on their own. That way they can sign up to borrow it for day hikes and weekend adventures when either I am not aval with the van or they don't plan to camp. I think it would be great to have that level of self reliance possible.

Please email lance AT disabledexplorers org or call/text 602 4 FIVE 1 6079 anytime. I work nights as an ICU RN so please leave a message if I don't answer.

Thanks in advance for any help possible.
