I just went throu a hurrcain and my direct dish has off now. I was wondering if any one out there has ever set one up? I called and they said they have no idea when someone would be out to retune it. Anyone got any help or pointers on how to fix it? I have the HD dish if that helps.

You can do it yourself. You'll need a good compass or a bad one and a lot of patience.
There are two angles. If you get one perfect, it's pretty easy to hunt for the 2nd one.
I've got no DirecTv experience, but with Dish Network, there's a setup screen with a signal strength meter. It has audio, so I turn it up loud so I can hear it from outside or have one of the kids in the house with a walkie talkie.
